Hat City Pictures Announces Plans For Feature Film

Hat City Pictures has announced their plans to shoot a feature length horror anthology, Contrived, beginning in the fall of 2015. According to writer and director, Angel Rosa, the film is being developed to be a sort of ingenious nod to the past. "Contrived will be a horror/suspense movie that's a different kind of homage to classic masters of the genre. Not a 70s-style kind of homage that claims to pay tribute by merely emulating the look and feel of 70s films. This is a lot more 'meta', if you will. Modern feeling, modern looking, but still respectful, and even literally favorable to the Hollywood of old. It's planned to be a clever and exhilirating love letter to an era long, long gone."
